Our first language to start programing websites was Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I already had a slight understanding of HTML from previous classes. This module helped me understand even more about the markup language and how I can make it look nice with CSS.

I found that the most helpful section of Module 1 was the quizzes. Yes, even though code academy taught me the overall of HTML. I felt like the w3 quizzes helped me memorize the tags and functions of HTML and CSS. Having a good understanding of the two helped me out for the rest of the semester. Below are my quiz grades.
